You will receive a notification (push notification on your iOS device, a web notification from your browser if the Toolkit is open, and an Email) at the start of each appraisal period.

To open your appraisal, navigate to Appraisal under My Performance section from the sidebar menu.

Sections of your appraisal

Your appraisal form has two sections: the previous year and the current year. Both sections include the company objectives, department/team objectives, individual objectives, quarterly objectives (if applicable), and general tasks, critical tasks and competencies as defined on your job description.

The Appraisal Process

Step 1. Line Manager Review

When your appraisal is in line manager review, you can access your appraisal form but you can only view its contents. You are not expected to perform any tasks.

Step 2. Employee Review

You will receive a notification once your line manager has submitted your appraisal for your review.

You can add your comments to the following:

  • individual objectives,
  • quarterly objectives
  • job description
  • competencies

  Note

You can add your comments to previous year only when the active appraisal period is the annual appraisal in April. After this period, the previous year will only be viewable.

To add a comment

  1. Click Add comment to the item you wish to comment on.
  2. Compose your comment on the input area in the bottom of the comment window.
  3. Click Post.

   Note

Any changes or updates you make in your review are saved real time. Although your line manager will not have visibility of your review until you set the appraisal to Appraisal Meeting, please note that you cannot edit nor delete the comments that you have posted.

When you're done with your review, click   on the top-right corner of the navigation bar and click Undergo Appraisal Meeting. Your line manager will be notified that you are ready for your one-to-one meeting.

Step 3. Appraisal Meeting

You are not expected to perform any tasks or activities on the Toolkit.

Step 4. Appraisal Signed Off

You can continuously add your comments to the current year’s appraisal when there’s no active appraisal period; that is, in-between appraisal periods. Note that you and your line manager can view these comments real-time as they are added.
